40 Days of Community - Tools and Support

As with 40 Days of Purpose, you will receive detailed instructions and resources to equip you to successfully carry out the 40 Days of Community campaign. Included in the price of registration are the Campaign Resource Kit and an all-inclusive website with every resource you will need available for your church to customise and produce. We also offer optional professional resources available for purchase.

What is included in your Campaign Resource Kit?

Your kit will be shipped to you a day after you register and will contain the following items:

1. Training DVDs: Watch 15 training sessions on DVD which cover every aspect of the campaign for each campaign team member.
2. Training manual: A 16-chapter training manual unpacks the details of the campaign, providing practical ideas, scriptural inspiration, and helpful timelines for your planning process.
3. Lobby Poster: A professionally printed four-colour poster to aid you in promoting the campaign within your church.
4. Kick-Off Message: “Better Together: What on Earth Are We Here For?” is the call to action for this campaign. This message by Rick Warren and the Saddleback musicians is included in your kit on DVD.
5. Small Group Teaching Video: Provide great reinforcement of the weekly themes for your small groups using the six video lessons taught by Rick Warren. One DVD is included in your kit.
6. Adult Devotional/Workbook: The kit includes one evaluation copy of Better Together, which combines the daily devotional book, the daily journal, and the weekly small group study guide. This soft-bound book will be the campaign companion for everyone in your church.
7. Optional Resource Samples: Look through the evaluation samples of the other resources available for purchase. These items may be duplicated yourself using files on your Campaign Resource CD, or purchased in quantities from Purpose Driven. There are professionally-produced devotionals for every age group. Also included are scripture memory key tag sets for children, youth and adults.

Ordering Supplies

Upon registering, you will be able to access our campaign director’s site which is fully loaded with the resources you will need to plan a successful campaign. Over 200 customisable documents supporting every aspect of the campaign including Communications, Host Home Recruiting, Small Groups, Kick-Off Event, Missions Project, Ministry Fair, Celebration Sunday, and more will be available to you.

As with 40 Days of Purpose, the one essential resource that cannot be reproduced and will need to be purchased is the daily devotional book. For this campaign, the devotional is conveniently combined with the daily journaling pages and the weekly small group study guide, making this an indispensable companion for every member of your church during the 40 Days of Community campaign

Professionally-produced resources are also available for purchase. These resources are designed to create a comprehensive experience and include children and youth devotionals and curriculum supplements, small group DVDs, memory verse key tags for adults, youth and children, and banners, posters, and other professionally printed communication tools.
